4 Bedroom House in Lauris

This 3-storey 120 sq.m house can accommodate up to 9 people in an original and charming environment. It is a part of a very recently renovated old priory (ongoing layout).
The ground floor, with vaulted ceilings, includes a vast 32 sq.m dining room, an equipped kitchen, a laundry and a small 8 sq.m living room that can be used as a single room if needed (mobile dividing wall).
A stone staircase directly carved into the rock (the same rock on which our beautiful village is perched) will take you to the upper floors of the house.
On the first floor you can find a 10 sq.m double bedroom, a bathroom with toilets and a large 30 sq.m living room that can become a bedroom with 3 beds thanks to the mobile separating walls.
On the second floor you can find a bathroom with toilets and a triple bedroom with a relaxation area in a mezzanine.
As the house benefits from the thickness of the ancient walls, and thus keeps a pleasant temperature, it is not air-conditioned (except for the room on the second floor as it is under the roof).
The gite is equipped with a dishwasher, a washing machine, all the equipment for ironing and cleaning, two hairdryers, and a mini hi-fi stereo system.
Internet access is available upon request (Please see the terms with the owner)
Equipment for young children (travel cot, high chair, safety car seat, pushchair, etc.) available upon request.

Summary: Very nice and comfy. If you like to cook, the kitchen is well equipped! Gaëlle was lovely and promptly addressed any issue I had. I would recommend this rental for a short or long stay.

Summary: We had a great time at Su Lei Campanes, Gaëlle is such a charming host! The house is artistically decorated and was nicely prepared for our arrival. It was a real home-from-home! Lauris is a great centre for exploring the Luberon and beyond. We made it to Arles and the Natural Park of the Camargue, to Rousillon, to Pont du Gard and one of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape vineyards, to the Roman and mediaeval city of Vaison-la-Romaine and to Cassis on the Riviera, as well as the more local towns of Lourmarin, Bonnieux and Lacoste. Lauris itself has good places to eat. We dined twice at Bistrot Jeannette, with its delicious food and friendly staff, just 5 minutes walk away. The pizza at La Storia is as good as you'll get anywhere (as judged by our Italian companion). The Super U supermarket just a few minutes away by car (in Puyvert) met our home cooking needs as well as having a good selection of wines and local products. We loved the Monday morning market, the Epicerie Jeannette, the patisserie/boulangerie, and the local pottery in La Table de Margot. We were welcomed at a Wednesday morning Mass in the church next door, and everyone we met in Lauris was so friendly and helpful. A truly memorable time!

Summary: We absolutely loved our stay in Lauris. It was the perfect little town and the most special rental. We really got to experience the French lifestyle. The house was perfectly arranged for our family and Gaelle was so lovely to work with. We can’t wait to return.

Summary: Our group of six female friends were completely blown away by how amazing our stay was here. This charming house exceeded our expectations in every way. Gaëlle was an amazing host and so friendly, helpful and so easy to contact. We enjoyed the location very much as it was a quiet base to relax at the end of each day touring around the Luberon and Provence in general. Even the neighbours welcomed us with open arms. I hope to return here several times as it felt like a home away from home. Beautifully decorated and comfortable beds and nice snd cool when it was hot outside. I can’t recommend this place high enough!

Summary: Gaelle's home is large, well-appointed, and she was an excellent host. The home is located in a lovely, quiet church square and is updated while maintaining it's beautiful historic charm. Summary: Our family loved our stayed at this property. We were made feel welcomed and were personally greeted by our host Gaëlle. The property is clean and perfect fully appointed with lots of thought put in. Located in a quaint (and quiet) town with most of the necessities. Nearby are some famous and beautiful towns. Overall, a most enjoyable stay.

Summary: A lovely, unique, warmly welcoming space created by the host along with her generous hospitality made this a perfect base for our adventures in Provence. We got to know Lauris a bit during our short stay, and the house was perfectly situated steps away from the main street of the village, yet was very peaceful, right next to the church and it’s beautiful ironwork Provençal belltower. We only wish we could have stayed longer!
